This is a LIMITED EDITION (X/134) 11x14.5" print/reproduction of a drawing I did of NHL and Toronto Maple Leafs star, Auston Matthews. This drawing took 70 hours to complete and is 100% pencil.
After selling out of the version I drew in 2021, the demand for another drawing of Auston began to mount. The hype reached new heights during 2023-2024 as he approached 70 goals. I knew that I wanted to include full size celebration shot in the foreground, but filling in the rest of this composition was challenging. I had a lot of fun drawing the 3D logo on the helmet and the faded name bar on the back of his jersey. This original now belongs to Auston. I hope you appreciate the small details in this one!
